Hey dude, you’ve really been on your game this week. This piece hits home for me. These are lessons that I learned extensively over the last 8 years or so. We all have this knowledge encoded in us and we all spend most of our lives running from it. Once you see the way broadly you see it in all things. Surrender. Surrender to the Truth, and surrender all false pretenses. I’m not even saying this in a religious manner, although I consider the moment I truly understood the concept my Rapture moment. Oh 2018, such simpler times…..It took a lot of beatings for me to finally get it, but damn it I’m here now……let’s go. And if you’ve read any of my story on here, you’ll know I’m not a run of the mill Christian or any other religion.
As Dr. Peterson says, “living in absolute truth will be the most exciting adventure of your life..”
Warriors must practice the short and the simple to make it a part of them so they execute unthinking.
Poets must encapsulate a universe of information into a few lines. Those lines must also be able to stick in ones memory with ease. That ease is the intent of poetry.
For me personally, I think the degree of resonance is completely dependent upon the quality and intention of your writing. The identifiers you use don't really factor in.
Another excellent post. One of the difficulties of truth is that, so often, one's truth can change with new information. Something that you believed to be a truth could be revealed as a falsehood. This does not mean that you were formerly living a lie, but that you simply did not have all of the information. New evidence presents itself and you have to make adjustments to your thinking. I have found that many of my truths have dissolved under the weight of further scrutiny. I try not to beat myself up over this, it's all part of the process.
One of my core values is truth, and I find it very difficult to hide information at times because I feel I'm being dishonest with myself if I don't tell the truth, betraying myself even. But it can be dangerous to be honest with everyone because some people are dangerous. That said, I wholeheartedly agree with this piece.

He ain’t wrong.

I love this part of your comment the most.
I find myself seeing this as well as the path broadly:
"Once you see the way broadly you see it in all things."
It’s not mine. But it come up a lot for me
That's Miyamoyo Musashi.
Not a bad person to listen to.
I’ve heard Rogan talk about him a lot. I find it to be the absolute truth about the truth. It’s pretty simple and it’s true, it will set you free.
The power of the warrior poet.

To put them together is to master both.
Simple and true.
Wonderfully succinct, sir.

Love the term Warrior Poet. Makes me think of Aubrey. We learned a lot from him at the beginning of this journey. Hope he’s well
Bravo, Andrew. You've written a letter of great power and beauty to gift your children...and all of us lucky ones.
Thank you.
Question for you, if you'd be so kind as to answer...
I write many letters to my kids. Most are addressed as such (kiddos, progeny, funny words for children, etc).
Many posts are edited, though only slightly, taking those out to address a wider "audience".
When you read pieces that do have those "identifiers" for children, does that cause it to resonate any less?
You're very welcome! :)

And the truth shall set you free!
Another excellent piece my friend. Keep up the momentum. 👍🇺🇸
