This reminds me of something I read once, but I cannot remember where. My best guess was a church magazine in the house, as we had many. It was a story written by a young married person, can't remember man or woman.
The gist, basically, was they had been in a big argument, and the person writing was sure they were right. This was early in their marriage. As the writer was fuming, trying to figure out how to convince their spouse that the writer was in fact correct, they had the thought...
"Would you rather be right, or married?"
The details of the story are clearly fuzzy in my memory. The lesson has stuck with me as clear as if I read it yesterday.
