Good early afternoon, everyone.

My mind is in about 1000 places right now. The meeting last Tuesday went well and I enjoyed the individual I spoke to. He seems like a good guy.

During the meeting I alluded to a certain audit they had a third party do and how I would be happy to offer recommendations based on their findings. As I was driving home I received an email about that portion and ended up going through it with them.

So that’s a good sign, I suppose.

Especially considering I was just asked today to come back in and assist with certain processes that require my particular expertise to do as a paid gig.

Prior to another meeting at the beginning of August to see about a permanent position there.

I am excited about every aspect of this. I had one rule going into the meeting last Tuesday and that was to be completely honest, especially in regards to losing my previous job.

It was awkward doing so but it appears to have been the right move.
