I can laugh,
   But laughing alone has an echo of pointlessness,
      There’s a hollowness to it.

I can smile,
   But smiling alone feels wasted,
      If not shared with you.

I can write,
   But the words ring empty,
      Without my essence and my muse.

I see beauty,
   But lacking luster,
      When you are not with me.

Yet when we laugh, 
   our joy reverberates,
A chorus of mirth that fills the air,
No longer an echo, 
   but a symphony,
In every shared moment, 
   in every breath we take.

When we smile, 
   our faces light up,
A radiant glow that illuminates our world,
Each grin a testament to our love,
A shared secret in the curve of our lips.

We write together, 
   our stories intertwine,
Words flowing like a river, 
   rich and profound,
Our essence melds, 
   our muses dance,
Creating poetry that sings of our bond.

We see beauty, 
   and it shines with a newfound light,
Every color more vivid, 
   every scene more bright,
For together, 
   we are wonderful,
