This dog beside me, her name is Zelda Yeah I just got her. She’s only 6 months old Isn’t she cute? She’s a Spanador and she has those bright green eyes Oh yes those floppy ears sure are adorable She’s so full of energy too. I love watching her play Beside me Come on Zelda, it’s time to go play This dog beside me, her name is Zelda I got her as a pup, but she’s 2 now Isn’t she cute? Yeah I like her but my goodness is she full of energy She can tear up any cage I put her in She even ate my dress blues! What a crazy pup, but she’s adorable and I love her And she keeps me company. I am alone a lot now Thank God she’s here Beside me Come on Zelda, it’s time to go home This dog beside me, her name is Zelda She’s 4 years old, but she still has so much energy Isn’t she cute? I can see the fur on her ears changing, they’re a little lighter than they were Yeah I got her as a puppy, she’s always been with me She even drove across the country with me back home She made it manageable and she was happy the whole way She loves car rides Beside me Come on Zelda, it’s time to go eat This dog beside me, her name is Zelda She’s 12 years old Isn’t she cute? Yeah her ears and face are white now, they didn’t used to be But my goodness, aren’t those floppy ears adorable? And she loves when you rub them Nowadays she moves around some but she’s hurting It’s hard for her to keep up on walks And the cancer came back, but she lays right here Beside me Come on Zelda, it’s time to go That dog beside me, her name was Zelda She’s gone now Wasn’t she cute? My world is dark now. I miss her being here Beside me Come on Zelda, I need you This dog beside me, her name is Zelda Where did you go girl? I missed you I know, you were right here the whole time Beside me Come on Zelda, it’s time to live again

Wow, I was not expecting that ending. I can tell you really Loved her.
Brought a tear. We lost our 21yr old cat a few months ago. My cute little pup is neary 3yrs now and still adorable and exasperating. Cats fill a void we never knew we had until they leave us. Dogs are larger than life and the void left with their passing is huge.
